Luca Pro is an auto-renewing subscription charged to your Apple Account. Luca never sees your card.
Renews until you cancel
It renews at the end of each week, month or year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
Cancel anytime in Settings
On your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Luca. You keep Pro until the paid period ends.
The full terms are in the Terms of Use. The yearly plan costs less per week than the weekly plan paid for a year; that is arithmetic, not a discount that expires.

1 AI scan a day, which is one estimate from a photo, a spoken description or a typed one, plus unlimited barcode scanning, label reading and manual entry. Fix with words gives up to 5 corrections per meal without using a scan. Recent and favorite meals, the daily ring, macro targets, streaks, achievements, friends, challenges, widgets, Apple Health and reminders are part of the free plan too.
How much is Luca Pro?
In the US, $6.99 a week, $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Prices vary by region and the App Store shows the price in your currency before you confirm.
What does Luca Pro add?
Unlimited AI scans, with fair-use limits to stop automated or abusive use. Everything else in the app is the same on both plans.
How is Luca Pro billed and how do I cancel?
It is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple Account. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Cancel anytime in Settings on your iPhone: your name, then Subscriptions, then Luca.
Do I need a card or an account for the free plan?
No. The free plan needs no account, no email and no payment details.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
